Thank you #HumansOfBelltown for an awesome night! Thank you to Herban Legends, who helped make this event possible, and Thank you to Cursed Oak, Black Cat, Redezvous, Connect Lounge, and Buenos Aires Grill! The drinks were fabulous, and the food was amazing.
Thank you also to Emily Ravenscraft for incredible violin, and to Belltown bands Winchester Pictures and Dirty Dirty for the incredible rock! We had live tattooing from Under the Needle, and live hair styling from Vann Edge Salon, and incredible volunteers from Biscuit Bitch!
After all event costs are accounted for, it looks like we raised about $1,500 for Rise Up Belltown, so thank you to all the humans who came supported us! That money will be used for continuing to get our message out, for basics like the website and keeping the lights on, for starting our non-profit IRS application, and for kicking off the planning for Rise Up Spring, which we hope to host during the last week of April, right before May Day. (fun coincidence: one of the many other names for May Day is Beltane!)
Our intent is to come back in the Spring with an even larger local lineup, more amazing food, and more Belltown pop-ups to showcase our rockin community businesses. If you're interested in helping plan the event, please contact us to join our events team! :)
