Q1. Why are you in #Belltown?
A. There's a different feeling of community in this neighborhood that doesn't exist elsewhere in the city. Whether it's fellow industry people, or neighbors. You build different relationships in Belltown - it's genuine. People come from all different cases, but they still get to know each other here.
Q2. Favorite thing about Belltown?
A. Even the bartenders, and your service industry people, they're just the most friendly. And there's history here. The bars, and the culture... We just have the coolest spots.
Q3. What's your message for the Mayor and Council about Belltown?
A. Safety is number one. We want to be conscious of issues like police brutality, but we also want every kind of person to feel safe coming and going. So we do need more of a police presence, and it should be one that understands and accepts this community for what it is.
